• Camping tickets dont include Concert ticket and you require concert tickets to camp.

FAQ CONCERT EXPERIENCE 

WHAT YOU CAN BRING

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we recommend bringing:

• A wide-brimmed hat and sunscreen for sun protection
• Camp chair for seating
  
• Rain poncho in case of rain
  
• Non-professional camera for capturing memories
  
• Sealed bottle/s of water 
  
• Snack food (chips, biscuits, etc.) and any special dietary food you may require
  

PROHIBITED ITEMS

For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, the following items are strictly prohibited:

• BYO beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) – This is a fully licensed event with a wide selection of wines, beers, ciders, spirits, and food truck offerings catering to all dietary needs
• Soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages
  
• Umbrellas and shade structures (limited exceptions at the back of the venue; please check with staff upon entry)

🚨 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 

• All bags, eskies, and personal belongings will be inspected upon entry.
  
• No BYO alcohol allowed into the event. Violation = denied entry without refund.
  
• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult.

PHOTO ID REQUIRED:

• For entry, purchasing, and consuming alcohol.
• Alcohol service will not be provided to patrons under 18.
  
• Patrons are prohibited from taking alcohol off-site at the end of the event, whether opened or sealed.

🎟 TICKETING, REFUNDS & RESELL INFORMATION

Tickets are non-refundable as per the Terms and Conditions.

Since 7 October we have sent more than eight emails to all ticket holders (using the email provided at time of purchase), as well as posting multiple announcements across social media regarding the changes.

If you’ve already purchased a ticket, the ticketing company will send out a second copy of your ticket during the week of the event, in case you are unable to locate your original email.

⚠️ Buying Tickets Safely

Only purchase tickets through official channels.
Buying from third-party sellers (e.g., Viagogo, eBay, Gumtree, Facebook, etc.) is at your own risk, and we cannot guarantee the authenticity of these tickets.
Fraudulent tickets will not be accepted at the event.
If you choose to buy from a private seller, it is your responsibility to ensure the ticket is legitimate.

🚗 PARKING

Ample parking available, but carpooling or using taxis/Uber is encouraged to ease traffic.

The festival will proceed rain, hail, or shine. Cancellation occurs only if deemed unsafe.
First aid will be onsite.

Welcome to Wangaratta Campground!

Our friendly Campground Managers are here to make your stay safe and enjoyable. By entering the campground, you agree to abide by the following rules:

Location 

Wangaratta Showgrounds

• Enter via Golf Links Rd.
  
• Please dont line up before 11am on Golf Links Rd
  
• Walking Distance to Concert at Rodeo Grounds

Facilities

• Limited Toilets and limited showers available on-site.
• Both powered and non-powered sites are available.
  
• Mix of site on grass and asphalt. First in first served basis
  
• Please note this is not a Caravan park and therefore does not have the same facilities as a Caravan Park
  

Arrival and Departure

Check-In: Friday: 11am – 9pm or Saturday: 8am – 11am
If arriving outside these hours, please call the hotline: 03 5988 4040.

Please note : you will not be able to access showground before Friday. If you are coming into town earlier you will need to find other accommodation 

Check-Out: Sunday: Before 11am

Campground Guidelines:

• Keep your campsite clean and within its designated boundaries.
• Digging trenches around campsites is strictly prohibited.
  
• Fires of any kind are forbidden. Violating this rule will result in immediate removal from the site, and your wristband will be revoked.
  
• Always wear your campground wristband and display your car permit in your vehicle window. Lost wristbands or permits will require a replacement fee.
  
• Camping in a tent or erecting a marquee? Ensure your setup is sturdy and securely anchored.

Visitor Policy:

• Only those with a valid camping ticket or wristband are allowed in the campgrounds.
• For security reasons, non-camping visitors are not permitted. Visitors without the correct wristband will be removed from the festival, and their event wristband will be confiscated.
  

Camping Ticket Information

• One Ticket Per Site: Each camping ticket covers the entire site, and your group will receive camping wristbands based on the number of people allocated to that site.
• Choose the Right Size: Ensure you select the appropriate number and size of campsites to accommodate your group and tent/van setup.
  
• Concert Tickets Required: Camping tickets do not include concert entry. Concert tickets must be purchased separately. Please note, camping is only available to those who also hold a concert ticket.
  

Can We Reserve Spots for Friends?

• Campsites are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To camp together, you and your friends should arrive together or have one of your group hold a spot
  

Vehicle and Speed Limit Rules:

• Vehicles must be driven at 8km/h or slower (walking pace).
• Vehicles must be parked in designated areas only. Roadways must remain clear at all times.
  
• Bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are allowed with proper safety gear but must not exceed walking pace. Usage is permitted only between 8:30am and dusk.
  

Children’s Safety:

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children, particularly near roads, water, and amenities.

Pet Policy:

• Maximum of two pets per campsite.
• Pets must always be kept on a leash and cannot be left unattended.
  
• Pet waste must be cleaned up and disposed of in designated bins.
  

Noise, Nuisance, and Prohibited Activities:

• Keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing other campers.
• Noise curfew: 11pm – 8am.
  
• Generators are not allowed after 8:00pm.
  
• Illegal substances, excessive alcohol consumption, disruptive behavior, or any form of violence will not be tolerated and may result in police involvement.
  
• Disrespectful behavior toward other guests or campground staff is strictly prohibited.
  

No Smoking:

Guests must comply with Queensland’s smoking laws.

Waste Disposal:

The festival adheres to a strict "Leave No Trace" policy. Be prepared to take all rubbish and belongings back with you.

Emergencies and Evacuations:

In case of an emergency, follow evacuation procedures to the designated assembly point.
During severe weather conditions, guests must evacuate the campground without exception.

Indemnity and Conditions of Stay:

• Guests agree to indemnify the organisers and their representatives against any claims or damages resulting from negligence or rule violations by the guest or their visitors.
• Guests are fully responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to their property. The organisers are not liable for such incidents.
  
• Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate eviction from the campground without refund.

Regfest Wangaratta – Update on Rodeo Component

Regfest wishes to advise that the rodeo component of the 2025 Wangaratta Regfest will not be going ahead.

This has been a very difficult decision, with the site previously used for Regfest not available in 2025. Please see the following statement from Council:

“Council and the landowner are currently undertaking a review of the use of the former Rodeo Grounds (Regfest 2024+ 2023 event site) and its suitability for these types of events. As these works continue, Regfest 2025 will be relocated to an alternative site. Despite extensive efforts by Council, a location to meet the needs of the event organiser has not been identified. Council is committed to supporting this event.”

Despite working closely with Council and searching extensively across the region, we have not been able to secure a suitable site that can accommodate music, rodeo, and camping together.

Cancelling the festival completely was never an option for us — the show must go on. While we understand that some attendees will be disappointed, Regfest is first and foremost a music festival company. The heart of what we deliver across Australia is live music and camping experiences, and these remain the cornerstones of our events and what our ticket holders most value.

We appreciate the community’s understanding and ongoing support, and we remain committed to creating an unforgettable 2025 Wangaratta Regfest experience for all.

Please note the concert will now be located adjacent to the former site, with camping still available at the showgrounds.​
