ABOUT 


We have gathered some absolute legends of Australian Country Music to play a very intimate gig at Lake Proserpine Campground on the Whitsundays on Saturday 15 June 2024 for 600 people only. This will be  great opportunity to celebrate with friends, family or your partner in what will be a very special, once-in-a-lifetime experience in a stunning location. 


Artist include Adam Brand, Sara Storer, Andrew Swift, Jayne Denham, Billie Jo Porter, Portia Clark and more!!

You will be able to camp on site and just stroll out of your caravan/tent/swag etc grab your fold-out chairs, grab your esky and cook a snag on the BBQ and enjoy a day of great music and have the chance to get up and personal with the artist like no other event.

- The stage is positioned within campsite grounds. So where you setup your campsite you will not have to move to far to enjoy concert

- Day Trippers - You can grab a concert ticket and attend the event even if your not camping on site. But there will only be a limited numbers of tickets for day trippers. FREE Parking available on site

Note this a small intimate and exclusive event where you will be able to stroll out of camping spot, grab your camp chair, fill your esky and watch the concert live from within campsite. You will have a chance to get close and personal with all the artist, as they might all stay on site Saturday night.


if your looking for a cheaper camping option there is other campgrounds in the area that you can book. Please note : You will then have to find transport to and back from concert

THE EVENT IS AN OPEN AIR CONCERT AND WILL PROCEED RAIN, HAIL OR SHINE. IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF CANCELLATION YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL AND SOCIAL MEDIA AS WELL AS WEBSITE. THE EVENT WILL ONLY BE CANCELLED IF THE SITE IS DEEMED TOO DANGEROUS TO PROCEED/CONTINUE.


ABOUT LOCATION


Lake Proserpine is situated 30 minutes inland from Proserpine and is an ideal spot for water sports and freshwater fishing. Lake Proserpine is renowned as home to 1m plus barramundi which can be fished all year round! Each year, the Lake is restocked with over 20,000 barramundi fingerlings.


Facilities include:

- Pontoons including a pontoon from the camping area into the lake
- Boat ramp and jetty
- On-site kiosk open from 8am - 5pm daily to purchase ice, wood, snacks, soft drinks, lollies, ice-creams, fishing tackle and general goods

LAKE PROSERPINE CAMPGROUND RULES (Letter from Campground Management)


​Welcome to Lake Proserpine Campground ‘the Campgrounds’. Our friendly Campground Managers are here to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The Campground Rules and regulations are here to ensure your stay is safe and enjoyable. By entering The Campground, you accept the Campground Rules and Regulations, we greatly appreciate your cooperation.

Conditions of Entry
Arrival and Departure

  • Please check in prior to securing your site location.
  •  The Kiosk is open from Monday - Saturday 9:00am to 5.00pm, Sunday 9:00am to 4:00pm.
  •  CHECK IN : FRIDAY  BETWEEN 12PM AND 9PM OR SATURDAY BEFORE 11AM
       CHECK OUT : SUNDAY  BEFORE 11AM.

Your Site

  • Strictly no camping past the signage located towards the waterline. Boat parking, boat launching, vehicle access and day use setups are also prohibited past the signage.
  • Guests must keep their site clean and tidy and must ensure their belongings are retained within their allocated site.
  • Trenches must not be dug on or around sites.
  • No open fires. Fires only permitted in above ground fire pits.
  • Generators are permitted but as a courtesy to other guests, no generator use is permitted after 8:00pm.

Available Campground Facilities

  • The Kiosk will be stocked with ice, wood, snacks, lollies, coffee, merchandise, canned and frozen goods.
  • Telecommunication services include Telstra network and Starlink Wifi.
  • Amenities with disability access.
  • Designated above ground fire pits.
  • Pontoon, Boat Ramp and Jetty

Vehicles / Speed Limit

  • Vehicles must be driven at 8km/h (walking pace) or slower.
  • Vehicles must not be parked on roadways.
  • All vehicles, boats or trailers must be registered.
  • Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and rollerblades and alike are permitted, but it is mandatory that safety equipment is always worn and equipment can only be used between the hours of 8.30am and dusk and not exceed walking pace.

Boat Launching

  • Boat launching is not permitted from the campground foreshore; all boats must be launched from the designated boat ramp.
  • All vessels must travel at 6 knots within 100 meters of the foreshore.
  • Boats may be moored onto the pontoon located in the campground area once launched. The boat owner must ensure that the boat is properly secured and is responsible for it at all times.

Children
 Parents and/or guardians are responsible for their children’s safety and actions.

  • Children must be always supervised by a parent and/or guardian, particularly in the amenities, near the road, waterways and on the pontoon.
  • Children may utilise the pontoon during daylight hours but the parent and/or guardian remain responsible for their safety and behaviour. Children must not be left unattended on the pontoon after dark.
  • No bikes and scooters are allowed on the pontoon at any time.

Pets

  • Two (2) dogs or pets are permitted in the Campground per site, some restrictions apply.
  • Pets are not to be left unattended and owners must ensure pets are always restrained on a short leash, under effective control while in the Campground at all times.
  • Pet owners are to use doggy bags and to dispose of any waste appropriately.
  • For health and safety reasons, pets are not permitted in common areas such as the kiosk, and amenity blocks.

Noise, Nuisance, and Illegal Activity

  • At all times, noise must be kept to a minimum and guests must not cause a nuisance to other Campground guests.
  • Excessive noise curfew is 8:00pm (Friday) and 11:00pm(Saturday). Campers are asked to refrain from loud noise from 8:00pm including no generator use after this time.
  • Illegal substance use, illegal activity, excessive use of alcohol, disruptive behaviour, lewd behaviour, and acts of violence/abuse within the Campground will be reported to the Police.
  • Disrespectful, rude, or intimidating behaviour toward other guests or campground management will not be accepted.

No Smoking

  • All Campground buildings and areas within five (5) metres of doorways or designated eating areas are smoke-free zones, including common areas.
  • Guests and their visitors must always comply with the applicable Queensland smoking laws that are in place.

Refuse and Waste

  • Guests must bag and/or wrap their garbage before placing in the provided rubbish bins.
  • Strictly no grey water is to be disposed into the campground area. A safe grey water disposal point is located behind the kiosk and amenity building. No black water disposal under any circumstances, fines apply.
  • Recycling bins are provided and to be used for designated recyclables only.

Tree Risk

  • There are trees throughout the Campground that drop branches and debris. The Campground Manager monitors this on a regular basis and takes preventative action as required.
  • Guests accept that there is a possibility of injury or damage because of falling branches.

Evacuations and Emergencies

  • In case of fire or other emergency, guests must follow evacuation procedures and make their way to the evacuation assembly point.
  • In the event of an evacuation due to cyclonic conditions, all guests are required to leave the Campground, no exceptions.

Indemnity, release, and other conditions of stay

  • Guests agree to indemnify the Council, its servants, and agents, and to keep them indemnified, against all actions, claims,demands, loss, damage, injury, costs, and expenses arising from, or in any way connected with, negligence or breach of these Campground Rules and Regulations by guests or their visitors.
  • Guests agree to release the Council, its servants and agents to the full extent permitted by law from all actions, claims and demands of any kind for, or resulting from any loss or damage suffered by, or the death of, or injury to, anyone in any way because of negligence or breach of these Campground Rules and Regulations by guests or their visitors.
  • Guests accept all responsibility and acknowledge neither the Council nor its servants or agents can be held liable in anyway whatsoever, for any damage or theft to property belonging to guests or their visitors, including because of power supply being connected or disconnected to guests' caravans/ motor homes/ tents.
  • The indemnity and release referred to in these camping rules survive the termination or expiration of the guests' stay.
  • Failure to comply with the Campground Rules and Regulations and/ or The Campground Manager's directions will result in termination of the booking without refund, and the immediate eviction from the Campground.
